Programs for Kids

Our kids’ programs delight and entertain children with engaging stories, reading, and learning that instills curiosity and wonder about the world around them.

Registrations for programs are available one week before the program takes place.

Read to a Therapy Dog Program

Therapy Partners, Inc. partners with the library to provide this program. Please keep an eye on the calendar for dates.

Registration is required and is available one week before the program.

Children and teens will have 15 minutes each to read to a therapy dog, giving them an attentive, always appreciative audience.

This program is for ages 6-18.

 

 

Storytime Program

Storytime offers an engaging and educational reading program designed for children aged 0-5.

It takes place on Monday mornings at 9:30 and 10:30.

Join us for singing songs, interactive felt board stories, reading sessions, crafting activities, and a delightful time together!

Siblings are welcome to attend although we will not have extra crafts.

Registration is required.

Squishmallow Club

Squishmallow Club will return after Summer Reading.

Join the Squishmallow Club for some squishy fun! Kids get to doodle their beloved Squishmallow, craft a whimsical tale, and chat away about these adorable squishy pals!

Lego Club

Lego Club will return after summer reading.

Lego Club is for ages 6-12.

Lego Club is a creative haven for children aged 6-12! It  is designed to ignite the imagination and foster a love for building, engineering, and storytelling through the timeless fun of Lego bricks. Lego Club is packed with themed challenges, collaborative projects, and free-build time, allowing young builders to explore their creativity and develop problem-solving skills.
